Assessing Your Financial Situation

Some questions for you to think about!

  • How am I doing in managing my personal finances?
  • Am I wise when it comes to borrowing and using credit?
  • What money traps should I be aware of?
  • What can I do when I face times of financial difficulty?

According to Richard C. Halverson, Former Senate chaplain, pastor and author, “Jesus Christ said more about money than about any other single thing because, when it comes to a man’s real nature, money is of first importance. Money is an exact index to a man’s true character. All through Scripture, there is an intimate correlation between the development of a man’s character and how he handles his money.”

As you think about the above questions, what will your answers be? The first step in achieving financial success is to make an honest assessment of where you are today. This will give you the insight to recognize any changes you may need to make for the future.
