Purchasing While Considering Quality

Purchasing While Considering Quality

Generally, when you are buying a product where length of service and performance are important, quality — how well it is made, how well it functions, how long it will last — is first consideration.  Price is, within budget limits, a second consideration.

Appearance may or may not be a consideration.  If it’s a suit or dress, yes; if it’s an electric drill, probably not.  If you are buying a product where length of service is not so important — soap or paper napkins, for instance — the lower price is usually the better value for your purposes.  Quality is not as important, as long as what you buy does the job to your satisfaction.

A lot of hard work and a little luck will stretch your dollars.
